It is still decidedly un-summer-like here, but California is trucking right along. I will be receiving my first shipment of tree ripened nectarines and peaches on Wednesday, June 10. With daytime highs this week reaching a scorching 12 degrees....I'm hoping that trucking up some summer will help the jet stream get over us.
We've had a few customers on Saturday mornings exclaiming over the hustle and bustle around the place. Yup, we're usually hopping on a Saturday morning. If you're looking to have the whole shop to yourself, come on over on Sunday morning. We open at 9 am on Sundays and usually don't get bustling until mid afternoon.
Remember, this Monday June 8th is the first of our sessions with a registered dietitian. This first session is free for all and will take place at the market at 7PM.
